Campaign update - 11 March 09

Thank you to all those who have supported our campaigning efforts recently. We now need to step up the work as the weather improves.

Whilst there are no local elections this year, European Elections are being held on June 4th. Labour currently only hold one seat in the large South East Region but Peter Skinner MEP believe this can be increased to two. Speaking at the recent Annual Meeting of the MK Labour Party Peter said that just 20 extra votes in each Ward is all the difference it would take to secure a second seat. And of course the General Election could come at any time.

Thursday is Campaigning Day
