You are invited to a discussion of Labour’s iconic 2017 general election manifesto with a writer who has the inside track on how it was crafted and assembled - Thursday 29th March

Mike Phipps, editor of For the Many…Preparing Labour for Power, is coming to Milton Keynes at the end of this month.

Mike launched his book in Parliament recently with Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell. His book is a collection of essays by some of the leading figures on the left of British politics and explores the creation of the manifesto and its possibilities for generating a radical left politics for the future.

On the evening, Mike will talk about the manifesto’s creation and give some views on the potential of our party to offer an even more radical and exciting policy platform for the next election. He will also facilitate a discussion amongst party members.

The event is open to all party members and supporters, so please do bring along Labour supporting friends or family members.

The event is free, however, if you wish, you can make a voluntary donation on the night to help cover the cost of venue hire and other expenses.
