Now local Bletchley councillors Emily Darlington and Mohammed Khan have some good news. They have secured £22,000 for improved parking. In addition the Council is proposing to build an extra new two bedroom bungalow. The cost of the bungalow will be met from the Councils Housing Account.

Cllr Emily Darlington said, “I am so pleased that we have been able to find money to improve the parking in this lovely close. I am also delighted that the Housing Service are also able to fund a new bungalow.”

Cllr Mohammed Khan added, “Residents raised the need to improve the parking with me some months ago and I persuaded the Director of Housing to visit the site. The end result is that he parking will be sorted out. The extra bungalow will be a bonus. I am really pleased with this.”
Cllr Emily Darlington concluded, “As local councillors we aim to find practical solutions to local problems. Improving the parking in Rowlands Close will benefit the local residents and resolve a long standing problem.”
