Close Bletchley Landfill

Labour councillors are calling for Bletchley landfill site to close. Milton Keynes now sends less than 1% of our waste to landfill but the operators want to keep it open until 2037, accepting waste from elsewhere - mostly London. Labour councillors believe that we have lived with the landfill site long enough, and it's now time to remove the lorries from our roads and return the site to nature by closing the site in 2022 when the current permission expires.
