Cllr Zoe Nolan

Zoe-Nolan.jpgCllr Zoe Nolan is one of two Labour councillors in Loughton and Shenley ward, which includes the areas of Shenley Church End, Loughton, Knowlhill, Great Holm, Medbourne, Oakhill, and Grange Farm.

She moved to Great Holm in 1992, with her husband Paul and their young family, and is employed by the NHS as a Consultant Forensic Psychologist working with families to help teenagers remain safely at home and in school and out of care or custody.

In 2013, Zoe was elected to the Loughton and Great Holm Parish Council, and is now its Vice Chair, a year later she became a Milton Keynes Borough Councillor.

Zoe was drawn into local politics after becoming involved in a campaign objecting plans to build over 100 new houses on the edge of Lodge Lake. Like many of the other residents, she enjoys the lake on a daily basis; walking her dog and running. Zoe is committed to enhancing the enjoyment of this lovely area, in addition to building on the work of the Parish Council, to communicate with people living and working in the ward.

As well as being a MK Councillor, Zoe is also the Vice Chair of the Council’s Children and Young People committee.

“As your Councillor for Loughton and Shenley ward, I can help you with any of your local concerns- from parking permits to planning permission battles - please let me know.”

Together with Councillor Matt Clifton, Zoe holds monthly surgeries, more information is available here.
