Former councillor Reg Edwards was presented with a merit award by Milton Keynes Labour Party in June for his long years of service to the community on Milton Keynes Council.
Reg was first elected to Milton Keynes Council in 1988 and served the community around Water Eaton and East Bletchley continuously until he stood down in May 2014.
A stalwart of the Labour party and trade union movement, Reg was awarded a merit award for his service to the community at the MK Labour AGM on 21 June. Reg received the award from the Leader of Milton Keynes Council, Pete Marland, and Andrew Pakes, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate in Millton Keynes South.
Thanks for all your work Reg.
