After Conservative parliamentary candidate Iain Stewart opted out of every election hustings this year, Labour candidate Hannah O’Neill has challenged him by saying “”I will debate you any time, any place.”

After 7 years of voting for cuts to the NHS, local schools and the MK council budget he has failed to face the public -; choosing to campaign in Coventry last weekend instead.

Labour Parliamentary candidate for MK South Hannah O’Neill has taken to social media; challenging Mr Stewart to debate the issues and defend his voting record.

The Facebook video, calling for a debate “any time and any place”, has had over 7,000 views in 24 hours and is being shared across Milton Keynes

Said Ms O’Neill “The prime minister has referred to this election as the ‘most important’ in her lifetime. So why is it that both the leader of the Conservatives and the MPs in Milton Keynes are desperately dodging any debate? It makes a mockery of democracy. The people of MK, and the rest of the country, deserve better.

Last night Jeremy Corbyn, Leader of the Labour Party, took part in a 7 way debate -; with Amber Rudd, Home Secretary, taking the place of Theresa May. Clearly absent Milton Keynes MP Iain Stewart is following his Leaders approach and keeping away from the voters.
