Cllr Hannah Minns has just been elected to serve the Stantonbury community. She has started to ‘clean up’ the area literally. Working with Stantonbury Parish Council and with some local residents she has started a monthly litter pick. The next one will be in June.

Cllr Minns said, “I was delighted to be elected to represent the Stantonbury area. I promised residents that I would work to improve the local litter problem as well as represent them in the Council Chamber. I believe the best councillors should do the core community work like help improve cleanliness as well as take up other matters that affect residents, like lack of housing, regeneration, parking and the under funding of health services.”

After a morning of hard work Hannah took the waste collected to the local waste management centre.

Cllr Minns concluded, “I aim as a local councillor to help improve the Stantonbury area. I will do this by working with the Parish Council and local residents. I look Forward to more residents joining me next Month.”
