Candidate for Stony Stratford Ward
My name is Anne Cryer-Whitehead. I’m a community campaigner and local mum who lives in our brilliant Ward of Stony Stratford. Over the next few months my team and I will knock on every door to listen to your concerns. I’m here to listen and here to help.
I understand the pressures we have all experienced due to massive cuts in central funding to Milton Keynes. These problems are all too real and affect our NHS, the police and our children’s schools. The Labour-led MK Council have worked hard to protect our communities from austerity and deliver the services that we all rely upon. Where improvements can be made you can rely on me to always work tirelessly for local residents.
I already work my socks off as a town councillor in Stony and I have fought hard to make the ward more accessible for people with disabilities. Locally I have been a leader in trying to ensure residents get decent and affordable housing that suits their needs. Stony Stratford Ward is a wonderful area to live. The unique character of our community is something I will always fight for, whether it be protecting the green spaces we enjoy through to supporting a thriving High Street in Stony. I want to see all our communities prosper and ensure we make where we live the very best it can be.
I am really excited to be your candidate. I hope to see you on the doorstep over the coming months but if you want to reach me at anytime please email firstname.lastname@example.org or on facebook @anne4MK.
