Candidate for Tattenhoe Ward
I’m delighted to have been selected to represent Labour in the Tattenhoe ward. Since making Milton Keynes my home I have come to love the beautiful open spaces and community feel of the city. I’m dedicated to being a strong voice against the cuts that have severely impacted Milton Keynes.
With a family member serving in Thames Valley Police, I know just how stretched our local police force is across the community. I will do everything I can as a councillor to ensure the safety of local residents and campaign for the resources that we need. We also need to work hard to deal with the effects of the national housing crisis in Milton Keynes. This can only be achieved by creating affordable, good quality, housing. It must be built around the infrastructure and green spaces that make Milton Keynes a great place to live, not tiny, cramped homes built for the profits of private developers.
I want to be a strong voice on the council for building the good homes of the future, so generations now growing up in MK will have a place to live when they reach adulthood, and which are grounded in the sense of community that is so strong in Milton Keynes.
I am hugely proud to have been selected to stand as the Labour candidate in Milton Keynes. If elected I will work tirelessly for all local residents in the ward. I hope to see you on the doorstep over the coming months but if you want to reach me at anytime please email firstname.lastname@example.org or on facebook @jack4tattenhoe.
