Women's Officer (Job Share)
I was born in Hammersmith London, but I’ve now lived in Milton Keynes for five years and love it here.
During most of my working life I’ve worked with children in schools, nurseries and running my own pre-schools. I’m now working in the creche at David Lloyds which I will continue to do until and hopefully beyond my retirement.
Walking and photography are my favourite hobbies along with the occasional abstract painting when I have time.
I am a vegan, love animals including my own pets, and am strongly against any form of animal abuse including factory farming.
My favourite words are equality, socialism, solidarity and justice.
The words that attracted me to the Labour Party, the reason for being a Women’s Officer and the reason to continue to fight for justice and for those without a voice are what Jeremy Corbyn said: “We want a society where everyone cares for everyone else and an economy that works for all”.
A good reason why I’m his number one fan.
