New Mayor of Milton Keynes

Congratulations to the new Mayor of Milton Keynes, Labour Councillor James Lancaster, who was appointed last night!

We are so proud of James, who has represented his community in Tattenhoe ward as a true community champion since 2019. He is the youngest ever Mayor of the city and wants to champion MK’s diversity in his mayoral year, as well as promoting his passions of leisure, culture and sport. He will also be supporting his mayoral charity Camphill MK.

Very few people love this city and champion it as loudly as James. We can’t wait to see him represent Milton Keynes as its first citizen, and wish James and his wife Sophie all the best in this year.
