Youth Council at Cabinet

Our City Council Cabinet were pleased this week to agree a regular slot for the Milton Keynes Youth Council to contribute at Cabinet meetings.

These are monthly meetings of the Council's Executive, and hearing from these passionate and talented young people will allow us to better understand the issues young people in the city face, as well as allowing the city's elected youth representatives to both challenge and work constructively with the Council leadership.

We heard some fantastic speeches from Youth Councillors on the night, including the city's Youth Mayor, and look forward to hearing even more from them in the future!
